Today, Bruce is in the hot seat.
JDM :: What drew you to Justin Downey Marketing in the first place?
BB :: I like building things, and JDM presents me with the opportunity to help build a marketing firm the right way. Justin and I share the belief that large chunks of marketing budgets today are spent on activities that are at best untraceable, and at worst, complete wastes of time. We want to help companies fix that.
JDM :: What is it like at Justin Downey Marketing?
BB :: As a group, the people behind JDM are supportive, interesting and open to new ways of doing things. The notion of doing something simply because “that’s the way we’ve always done it”, carries very little weight here.
JDM :: In your 15-year career, what are some things of which you are most proud?
BB :: I also hosted the Infomart Technology Pavilion of first Internet World’s Fair. I helped a company prepare and execute an IPO that raised $350 million. I created a campaign for IBM that drew a 58% response rate. I’ve also won several Addys and Mercury Awards for advertising excellence.
It’s been quite a ride.
JDM :: In what ways do you best contribute to Justin Downey Marketing?
BB :: Justin Downey Marketing is all about, expertise, honesty, efficiency, experience, creativity and energy. I’m the experience guy.
JDM :: What do you do for fun when you’re not working?
BB :: I’m an avid scuba diver, lifelong intermediate snow skier, amateur parachutist, 90% free-throw shooter and an expert at towing inflatables outside the wake.
